 The teacher is talking to the students about various things before the class starts. They like her she is entertaining and gets them excited to come to class. They have a test tomorrow and she is describing to them the format of the test and what to expect. To start the class the teacher starts by teaching them a listening strategy. The teacher applies outside ideas that were discussed before the class to help students understand better and does a good job applying ideas to their lives and giving the students context. Now is she giving them a ted talk on the listening strategy and explaining what he's saying to the students' levels. The teacher does a good job commanding the classroom getting them motivated when they stop paying attention. It also plays perfectly into the lecture as it is a listening class. The teacher is now having the student's group together to practice the listening method. She is monitoring to ensure they understand and are doing the listening method correctly. She is laughing with them and making the activity fun. The students are talking about their own issues which ensures that they talk a lot and are motivated to talk and listen. She then asked the students for feedback on the listening strategy, and they all liked it. That is how she closed the class, and she stayed and talked to the students about various things.
